So many typewriters on Ricardo these days!!! Isn't it lovely? Nothing that I am keen on bidding for myself - most of the sellers aren't shipping anyway - but it makes for entertaining browsing.
Yes, that poor Remington is in awful shape - it's surprising that the top part and case seem to be so well preserved, but then it all falls apart rather literally at the keyboard... must have been dropped from a great height!
I think we are even on the typewriter discovery front - the typewriters in the French-speaking part end up in Geneva, and the typewriters in the German-speaking part end up on Ricardo, where you have easy access to them! It's a good deal, because you don't even have to leave your house to see what's available :-) And then you save on the shipping fees, too, assuming the seller even wants to ship. I see a lot of Kein Versand :-(
Let me know what you end up getting ;) And if you ever do come to Geneva, I will be glad to show you around the usual places... hopefully the weekend you pick is productive, as it is hard to predict. (Yes, sometimes the flea market has no typewriters at all...)

Yes, at the moment, there's an impressing number of typewriters for sale. And I found some interesting ones...
