On September 19, 1938, my father and his family fled the Sudeteland and moved to Switzerland.
So I am interested in Czech typewriters and dedicated an issue of ETCetera to them (no. 79).
I'm the same way. That's a cool train of thought, tying it to history.
What a fantastic machine! I agree with you, if our typers could speak, they could tell us a lot of stories!
I also thought an interview with a well-aged typewriter could be a good benefit.
