I just bought liquid eraser pens, much neater than the bottle.

What a precise typewriter you must have used to come up with such a unique typecast. ( ;

I use correction tape in such situations, although I prefer the powdered sheets for small pieces. The correction tape is like liquid paper, but goes on dry, and can be accurately applied.

Liquid white-out has another advantage: it doesn't produce residues that can fall in the mechanism and clog the ribbon vibrator and type basket. Sure, you must wait until it is completely dry to type on it, and it's hard to get an even surface with it, but it's a big help.

I'm also a big fan of "Liquid Paper", as white-out fluid is generically known around here. ^^

correction: I mean such a "neat" typecast.

I remember using that as a kid in grade school. Were I typing up some sort of report with a typewriter, I would be sure to have some handy. As it stands, I use my typewriters for first drafts of novels/short stories, blogs, letters, and envelopes. I have yet to use it for any of these, but can definitely see its usefulness.

wow that looks like a brand new ribbon!

btw - i real great job with your blog. i am impressed with your committment to pretty much typecast every day.
Also i very much enjoy seeing the writing examples of so many nice typewriters in your collection.

I think both have their place when not over used. I like that I can correct something and if I do not like that the correction media can be seen I scan my page and reprint it and no more noticeable correction media.

Tipp-Ex papers for me. Quick and clean. I haven't really noticed the white material going anywhere but onto the paper. I use a correcting pen for crosswords though :-)
