Remington Model 2 Typewriters are one of my favorite, but I do not have one :(
What a coincidence, I just took mine out of the case and had a similar reaction. Lovely typer, really.
It has a design that grows on you. And the typing action is in accordance with its good looks!
The early Remingtons are very nice looking machines. I imagine they are relatively scarce over there. I see them frequently in our area.
