I agree wholeheartedly! I'm not even using the new post editor; I tried it a couple of weeks ago and didn't find it all that compelling. It's really unfortunate that they aren't giving us options to manipulate the image views... the typosphere is pretty much all blogspot now and we have to go along with their changes whether we like it or not :(

I don't like the new post editor either, but I DO like the gallery view for reading multi-page typecasts.
It seems like blogspot has undone the change. At least I now had the chance to make a backup.
